Why we are recruiting
The Regional Partner Services team focuses on structuring and delivering tailored engagement for Forum Partners across Latin America, Middle East & Africa, South Asia, Asia Pacific. The team works across all industries and in close collaboration with the Regional Business Team, 10 Forum Centers and 22 Global Industry communities. We are currently looking for a Manager (Team lead), who will be responsible for leading a team focused on building and reinforcing interactions with Partner Representatives at the Forum Partner companies within the Asia region. The region will comprise South Asia as well as Asia Pacific and Australasia.
Responsibilities include
- Oversee the structuring and delivering Partners’ events engagement, ranging from registrations, agendas, speaking roles and logistics, in collaboration with either the Regional Business or Global Industries teams
- Lead a team of Account Managers in the Asia region. Accountable for the regional portfolio and its health, measured by such parameters as Partner retention, delivery on the engagement plans, Partners’ event engagement, Partner upgrades.
- Contribute to opportunities to grow and upgrade Partners, in close collaboration with the Regional Business or Global Industries teams.
- Accountable for the portfolio retention by ensuring the team delivers on tailored engagement plans for Partners to address their priorities and deepen their engagement in relevant Forum activities, in collaboration with either the Regional Business or Global Industries teams
- Monitor and generate intelligence on the regional Partner portfolio to flag potential risks and opportunities for Forum engagement, ranging from recent announcements and partnership, annual and sustainability reports, and senior executive changes
- Accountable for Partner integration and experiences across the Forum’s digital ecosystem
- Maintain ongoing engagement with the Forum for a limited portfolio of most engaged Partners in the Asia region, through building and maintaining relationships with partner Representatives and delivering tailored engagement opportunities
To be successful, a Regional Partner Services Manager (Team Lead) should
- Monitor and proactively manage Partner retention and engagement metrics across the portfolio
- Ensure a ‘One-Forum’ approach, with internal product teams, Centres and Regional Business teams to Partners to guarantee optimal Partner engagement experience.
- Enable and support the team to build relationships with Partner Representatives to develop and execute on engagement plans based on their business priorities and relevant trends for their region and industry sectors
Preferred Requirements and Experience
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills and command of English, command of Korean is a valued asset
- Ability to connect the dots in a complex matrix environment, strong collaboration skills, with disciplined and consistent follow-through for internal and external parties
- Prior experience in the Energy sector or Financial Services sector is a valued asset
- Masters' degree or equivalent
- Successful track record in key account management and business relationship development, including proven ability to engage with multiple functions and business lines in an organization
- Experienced leader with a demonstrated ability to lead, develop and grow teams
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decisions.
- 7-10+ years of professional work experience in or with the Asia region, including in one of the following countries: Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, India. Prior account management experience is a valued asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
