Product and Patient Safety Lead

For our biotech client in Basel, we are looking for a candidate, who will manage global safety activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Benefit Risk Team meetings (topics: signal detection, validation, risk management)
• Ensure the Company Core Safety Information for assigned products is on track
• Safety signal management for assigned products
• Represent Global Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety internal and external
• Represent Safety Science in the Medical Development Teams
• Review and approve product safety information in all documents where medical review is required

Required background

• Min 5 years of signal evaluation and benefit/risk of medicines
• Higher level biomedical or scientific qualification (MD, PharmD or PhD)
• Experience leading cross functional global product safety management teams
• Experience with development programs and with products with market approvals
• Min 8 years of clinical practice, clinical research experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
