Compliance Officer Generalist - Swiss Private Bank

On the behalf of a Swiss human-sized private bank based in Geneva, i am currently looking for an experimented Compliance Officer.

You will mainly : - Ensure the Bank's compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements, as well as with ethical standards used in financial markets. - Assist the Bank's staff in complying with and applying Compliance standards. - Assist the Head of Compliance in all operational tasks assigned to the Compliance Department.

The responsibilities include :

• Participating in the development, implementation, and enhancement of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborating with various internal departments to provide guidance and support in matters related to compliance and risk management.
• Conducting KYC reviews, AML and due diligence.
• Monitoring and reporting on changes in regulations and laws that could impact the bank's operations.
• Conduct onboarding of accounts until closure.
• Assisting in the preparation for regulatory examinations and audits.
• Conducting compliance reviews and assessments to ensure the bank's operations align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Swiss financial regulations (FINMA) and international AML/CFT standards.
• Fluent in French and English
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in compliance within the finance or private banking industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE, etc.) are a plus.
